Welcome to the Magic Kingdom!

Main Street USA serves as your gateway to the seven themed lands of the Magic Kingdom.  At the end of Main Street, you'll arrive at the hub with Cinderella's Castle in front of you.  The park is designed like a wheel.  The castle is the center and each land is a spoke of the wheel.

You can travel from one end of the park to the other going land by land.  You can also use the castle as a center and pass through to get to other lands.

If you travel left to right through the park, you will visit each of these lands in the following order. I've highlighted a few of the more popular attraction in each.

Adventureland - The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Cruise, The Enchanted Tiki Room, Aladdin's Flying Carpets, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse

Frontierland - Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, The Country Bear Jamboree, Tom Sawyer's Island

Liberty Square - The Haunted Mansion, The Hall of Presidents, The Liberty Belle Riverboat

Fantasyland - It's a Small World, Peter Pan, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Philharmagic, Cinderella's Golden Carousel, Snow White's Scary Adventures, Mad Tea Party

Mickey's Toontown Fair - Mickey and Minnie's Country House

Tomorrowland - Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Stitch's Great Escape, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Astro Orbiter, Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Carousel of Progress

Each land promises fun and excitement for all ages!

MAIN STREET USA

Upon entering the park, you begin on Main Street USA.  Along this thoroughfare, you will find guest relations, dining, shopping and character greeting areas.  During the day in less crowded seasons, various vehicles are available to take you to the end of Main Street.

Main Street is a great place to get your Photopass and take some pictures in front of Cinderella's Castle.  Once you arrive at the hub (the end of Main Street) you can choose a land to visit.  For now, we'll take a left to right approach through the lands.  The park is designed like a wheel.  You can jump from land to land by returning to the castle center and move from there instead of walking through the entire park.  There are also pass through short cuts throughout the park as well.

You can also board the Walt Disney World Railroad here upstairs.  The train ride is a 20 minute circle of the entire park.  The train makes two stops - Frontierland and Mickey's Toontown Fair.  There are no height restrictions. Personal strollers must be folded up to take onboard.  If you're taking the round trip, there is stroller parking.

ADVENTURELAND

Once over the bridge, you've entered Adventureland.  All attractions in this land are for the entire family.  There are no height restrictions on any of the rides.

Swiss Family Treehouse - is a walk thru attraction.  There are many many steps to climb as you view various vignettes depicting the story of the Robinson family and the treehouse they built.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin - Grab a carpet and fly round and round but don't get spit on by the golden camels!  Each carpet has two rows of seating.  Front row controls tilting action and the back row controls rise and fall.  You control how wild it gets!

The Jungle Cruise - This boat ride takes you through 4 major rivers of the world with a joking skipper at the helm.  See elephants, crocodiles and hippos while laughing at the jokes.  Your skipper has quite an arsenal of corny and silly jokes to tell.  Laugh anyway -- you'll get tired of groaning!

The Enchanted Tiki Room - Under New Management - This attraction is in two parts.  While you wait for the main show, there is a short pre show in a sheltered, standing room only area.  As you enter the air-conditioned theater, you will notice that the show happens above you so there really is no bad seat.  Iago and Zazu have joined the cast to try to update the musical revue.

The Pirates of the Caribbean - Captain Jack Sparrow joins the crew of salty old pirates on this boat cruise.  Recent renovations have updated the ride and classic scenes still remain.  Enjoy a slow dark cruise through the world of the plundering pirate.
